Ariana Grande’s win for “Best Pop Vocal Album” at this Year’s Grammy awards meant big things for Miguel Millionés.
His engineering credit(s) on Ariana’s “Sweetner” ensured him a second gramophone statue.
“Specifically it was the fact I engineered more than 51% of the album playing time, in fact it was 56%.” (said Millionés.)
“Sweetner” came up big at the Grammy’s despite Ariana’s absence (a deliberate boycott effort on Grande’s part) the result of a creative disagreement with the show’s producer.
Not to be slowed; Grande’s new album “Thank U, Next” (released just this month) currently has three singles occupying the top three positions on the billboard top 100. The first time such a feat has been achieved since The Beatles.
